Nothing has changed in the top 4 since the combine for me. Cooper is still No. 1 and the more I watch, the more obvious it is he’s top guy. Overall, it’s a very deep group. Not on par with 2014, but still tons of depth and something for everyone.
Here are the final LTL running back rankings for 2015. You can check my work by reading the evaluation of last year’s class. We will likely see a back or two go in round one for the first time since 2012. At the same time, I see starting caliber backs that will be available in the 3rd and 4th […]
While the 2015 wide receivers can’t hang with the absurdly talented and deep 2014 class, this is shaping up to be another good year for pass-catchers. These grades aren’t final, as there is more film to watch and players to add. Final grades will be posted in April. Until then the board is fluid, but I […]
2014 is an odd year for running back draftees in a fantasy football context. Some of the most talented runners, like Carlos Hyde and Tre Mason, were selected by teams with solid incumbent starters. You can read my pre-draft rankings for an idea of how I feel about them from a scouting perspective, but here I’ll look […]
1. Jadeveon Clowney, South Carolina Dude is a monster. Huge and explosive. Some questions about his drive. If you want to nitpick, he’s a little high cut, might not be elite at bending the edge and that could hurt sack numbers. Could grow out of OLB position. Number one overall tools. 2. Khalil Mack, Buffalo […]
The 2014 class of receivers is both top heavy and extremely deep thanks to a ton of underclassmen. Pick your flavor, because there something for everyone. 1. Sammy Watkins, ClemsonExplosive playmaker. Natural hands. Rare prospect who has 4.4 speed and plays with toughness. Absolutely the #1 WR, but not quite in the class of bigger […]
1. Carlos Hyde, Ohio StateHyde is the consensus #1 RB in this class. Complete back with power and solid speed for his size (6-0, 230). Great feet and vision — can slide, find a hole, then get downhill. Good pass protector and has natural hands out of the backfield. Will he break the stigma of […]
This is not a great quarterback class. I only have one player with a first round grade and none in the top 15 overall. While this class is not top heavy, there is good depth. If you need a guy who can carry a clipboard for a while and potentially develop into more, this is […]
